The Recruitment Innovation Workshops will focus on “what’s new” in recruitment, and will bring together leading Canadian Recruitment Experts and Innovators to share best practices and to network. Workshops will be a blend of practical learning, sharing best practices, and hands on interactive exercises. Some specific workshop topics include:
1) Recruitment Trends and Best Practices
In this section, you will learn about and discuss current and future recruitment trends, techniques and best practices. We will also specifically cover typical Canadian recruitment challenges and opportunities.
2) Being a Consultative Recruiter
Exploring how to better build and develop a consultative recruitment relationship with your Hiring Managers and candidates.
3) Networks vs. Networking
Define and explore the concepts of networks and networking. Find out how to better build and leverage your network as a powerful recruitment resource, and overcome the day-to-day obstacles of networking.
4) Candidate Sourcing 3.0
Participants will be lead through some of the "Tricks of the Trade" and techniques that help build resource pools of hard to find individuals. We will review the use of cutting edge sourcing techniques and tools including popular social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc).
5) Leveraging Your Organization's Brand
You’ve spent considerable time (and money) developing an amazing employment brand – now what? This section explores the “how to” with respect to effectively leveraging your employment brand and employment value proposition throughout the recruitment process.
6) The Offer Experience
This section focuses in on “closing the candidate”, and putting Sales function like rigour around “closing the deal” with both active and passive candidates.
